On April 9–10, 2025, we once again joined the Nuclear Encounter conference — an opportunity to benefit from inspiring presentations, learn new insights about the nuclear sector, and network.
The Jaderné setkávání / Jadrové stretávanie (Nuclear Encounter) conference was created as a unique opportunity to connect the four nuclear power plants in the Czech-Slovak region. This platform traditionally brings together top management from all four plants, as well as their supplier and service organizations. The conference was hosted under the auspices of Mr. Bohdan Zronek from ČEZ, a. s., and Mr. Patrik Kašo from Slovenské elektrárne, a. s.
This year’s conference was held in Slovakia, in the picturesque surroundings of the Low Tatras. Main topics included:
- Operational performance of nuclear units in 2024,
- Challenges in implementing investment projects in 2024 and plans for the coming years,
- Digitalization in the nuclear power plant environment,
- Performance improvement within the Nuclear Excellent Plan, presented by Mr. Richard Davis, Director of Nuclear Power Plants Division at Slovenské elektrárne,
- Progress update on the MO4 completion project, and
- Construction of EDU II and recent developments in small modular reactors (SMRs).
Our company was represented by our Michal Hrdina, Dalibor Práznovský, Branislav Béreš, and Michal Hanes. We’re already looking forward to the next gathering!
