For positive material identification, we use the BELEC COMPACT mobile optical emission spectrometer, which is used for fast and accurate classification of materials and for precise analysis of the chemical composition of metallic materials directly under operating conditions. This spectrometer has the highest quality ZEISS optical system with excellent resolution, so it measures the individual elements very accurately and is also capable of measuring the carbon content.
At the same time, we can also perform PMI using VANTA XRF spectrometers, which are among the most advanced handheld ED-XRF spectrometers. These are capable of performing fast and accurate analyses of the elemental chemical composition of metals, alloys and other materials in the MG-U elemental range. Our staff are specially trained to operate all equipment and the instruments are also subject to regular calibration.
