Modification of Power Supply of TC10,50 Valves

Duration: February 2021 – March 2024

The project was carried out for Slovenské elektrárne, a. s., at the Bohunice Nuclear Power Plant. For the project involving modifying the electrical power supply for the valves, we provided a technical solution, prepared design documentation, quality documentation for classified equipment, implementation documentation, supplied materials, and executed the power backup for 1TC10,50S01 and 2TC10,50S01.

  • A project modification incorporated into the As-is documentation archived by the Client
The delivery included
  • Contactors
  • Relays for Automatic backup electrical power supply of the valves
  • Cables with functional resistance for the new electrical power supply
  • Circuit breakers
  • Fuse switches
  • Fireproof penetrations in cable trunking
The preparatory work included
  • Laying of power cabling
  • Dismantling of the original connection of existing electrical components to the switchboard valves during shutdowns
The implementation included
  • Installation and connection of new components for the automatic backup power supply system in the switchboards
  • Wiring new cables
  • Installation of fire-stopping penetrations

Installation was concluded with the issuance of Initial professional inspections and testing reports for classified equipment following the Decree no. 508/2009 Coll., and the execution of tests as per the Preoperational and Commissioning programs

Upon completion of the implementation and functional testing, the final documentation was issued, and the As-built documentation was handed over to the archive.
