Our usual daily disciplines — such as patiently sitting through meetings, loud (but productive) Teams calls, dashing between client sites, warehouses, and workshops, breaking records in keyboard typing, or sprinting down hallways with important papers in hand — were, at the start of September, replaced with proper sports ones. Once again, we got to enjoy a fantastic Sports Day in Levice, organized for us by the amazing SITUM team.
Randomly mixed teams competed for the most precious prize of all: a little free time (thank you, management!). In disciplines like archery, bowling, trivia quiz, team ski races, bungee running, goal and hoop shooting, we got to stretch our legs stiffened by long hours of sitting, loosen up our backs, and practice teamwork, team spirit, solidarity, and general knowledge.
Combined with beautiful summer weather, great food, and delicious drink samples, it turned out to be a truly special day that everyone enjoyed — even the “last ones.” Luckily, as we know, the last shall be first — and even if not, taking part is what really matters.
But this day wasn’t just about performance. It was also about engaging in friendly conversations, getting to know new colleagues, and rekindling relationships with old ones. We want to thank company management for creating the perfect environment for that — and we’re already looking forward to next year’s 4th edition!
